Looking back on Henry!

So as I said before my son will be 1 in October!! I can't even believe it!! It seems like yesterday I was having him. It all started October 14th I was finishing up some painting in his nursery in the evening. My husband came home from work about 9pm and I was telling him how tired I was. I was in bed, and about 10pm I thought I would take a bath. Around 12am I told my hubby (Alex) that I was so hungry all of a sudden and that I wanted some burger king. After I ate, I fell asleep for a few hours. I woke up really uncomfortable and knew I was having minor contractions. I called my doctor on call at the hospital. He told me to wait a few more hours for them to get closer together. But I waited about 5 minutes and started bleeding so I called back and he told me to come in. (even though I had done this before- I was induced with mari- it didnt make it any easier) I was so nervous. I went into the room (about 4am) and they hooked up monitors and such. They ended up making me stay, I got the epidural(6-7am) but it slowed down the labor process so they gave me a bag of meds to start the labor pains again. They told me it would take a few hours. About (8am) the nurse came in and I told her I was feeling alot of pressure. It wasnt going away. I told her I wanted the midwife right away (And that I wasnt joking) Alex next to me told me to calm myself it was all fine, and that I might still feel pain even with the medication. I told him this was the baby and I know it. Non the less the midwife came in to check my dialation and told me she could see henrys head and that he was comming. "I told you so" I yelled. My body was automatically trying to push. The nurse told me "I think we can get him out in a few pushes". I could feel the pain worse and worse but I pushed hard knowing I wanted to see my precious baby. (After all 9 months is quite some time!!) 5 minutes and 4 pushes later,,, came my baby boy! My sweet boy, the first thing I did was look at alex and told him how much henry looked like him!!! .........HERE ARE SOME IMAGES OF MY BOY!............

I just love this one of our shoes!! I couldnt wait for him to wear these!!!

Awwww..Me and my big belly...I couldnt wait. Happy smiles!

Our family was so happy and excited! Marisol is such a great big sister!

But I am so very grateful for the opportunity to have the wonderful blessing of kids in my life. Henry is such an amazing little boy, and me and daddy are very happy he is here!! We love you "little man!"
